The Edgefield Connection

Join Us at Mickey's on Tuesday, Oct. 24

10/19/2017

Calling all neighbors! You're invited to join Historic Edgefield Neighbors for our October social for some fellowship, fun, and philanthropy. We'll be meeting at Mickey's Tavern on Gallatin Road from 7PM to 9PM on Tuesday, October 24.

Mickey's will offer great drink specials and a warm atmosphere. While there, Edgefield is gearing up for our annual holiday backpack drive benefiting Warner Elementary and can use everyone's help with a suggested donation of $20. The funds we collect will be used to purchase backpacks and supplies for those Warner students who might need nutritional support during the holiday break.

For those attending, we will be happy to collect cash or check. If you are unable to attend, please mail or drop off a check (made out to Historic Edgefield) to Anne Manner (600 Russell) before November 18. We will share more information about stuffing the backpacks with food and other supplies during our November business meeting.

Also, parking at Mickey's is limited, so we encourage you to carpool or use a ride-sharing service.

We hope to see everyone there!
