SATURDAY, APRIL 21ST // 8:30AM TO 11:30AM
Who’s coming out for our neighborhood spring clean-up?! Bring the kids, family, and friends! We will spend the morning helping each other clean up our alleyways, public spaces, and problem areas! Also, this year, we are so happy to be joining forces with the folks from Edgefield Baptist Church and look forward to working with them. They are expecting around 20 volunteers, which will be awesome! PLANS FOR THE DAY: Meet at Edgefield Baptist Church – 700 Russell Street, on 7th Street side across from Warner School any time between 8:30 and 11:30. Please note the location has moved from the 600 Russell St. address that was listed on the flyer distributed in the neighborhood. We will venture out, hitting our problem areas, and we will pay special to problem spots around Warner School and the church. If you have a truck you are able to use, please let us know. GET A HEAD START:
If you can’t participate Saturday morning, you can still drop your trash by at our staging area, there behind the church on 7th Street before 12:30pm. On Saturday, there will also be complimentary t-shirts available, and litter grabbers on loan from Metro (or purchase for $10). Bring some gloves, a water bottle and don’t forget to wear your sunscreen! See you there! |
