Get Involved: HEN Neighborhood Committees

Would you like to get more involved with HEN? Participation is critical to the preservation and community spirit of our neighborhood, so we're inviting all HEN residents to help us spread the reach of the association.

The HEN Board has identified the following four committees to help guide the work of the association. If you'd like to get involved with any of these committees, please email the contact person identified below:
 
Community Outreach
This committee oversees the association’s community outreach and involvement within our broader community, as well as our philanthropic efforts. It also includes crime prevention, parking and traffic. Committee members include Phillip Hill, Anne Manner, Lois Layne, Jim Damato, Sherne Marie McMillan and Randall Gilberd.

Physical Aspects
The physical aspects of the neighborhood committee focuses on plantings at entrances, street sign maintenance and repair, clean-up days, and other outdoor issues concerning the neighborhood. Committee members include Chris Lucas, Randall Gilberd and, Clint Layne.

Neighborhood Outreach
The neighborhood outreach committee plans and manages communication, socials, welcoming new neighbors, getting new members, and the events calendar. Committee members include Brandon Dyce, Steve O’Loughlin, Jenny Alexander, Terri Dorsey, Sherne Marie McMillan and Lois Layne.

Financial Affairs
The financial affairs committee maintains the HEN budget, membership dues and fundraising initiatives. Committee members include Jenny Alexander, Chris Lucas and Randall Gilberd.

These committees will meet regularly and will provide updates at the bi-monthly business meetings. We hope you'll decide to get involved and share your talents with the neighborhood!
